Blog activity resuming...

It’s been a long time since my last blog post (oops, more than two years). I’m hoping to find more time adding content now and I have plenty of ideas for content.

The old blog was build with Octopress which served well for a while, but it was time to move on to something easier to use. After a quick search for alternatives and a few tests, I settled on Middleman.

Middleman by default does not provide any sexy template. I tried a few ones and opted for Casper.

Next step was to migrate Octopress content to Middleman. This did not proove to be easy because I had to adapt some content from Octopress pages and took the opportunity to create Middleman custom helpers (mainly for embedding Youtube videos and GitHub gists).

So here we are…
